Ab 2015 weist das Bundesamt für Energie quartalsweise die beliebtesten vollelektrische Modelle (BEV) bei den Personenwagen aus, ab 2021 sind die Daten in monatlicher Auflösung verfügbar. Dabei werden alle vollelektrischen Modelle aus der Schweiz zusammengezählt.
